My name’s Yochana Khayat, and I’m a Biology major at Rutgers Newark and the author of Preventing and Treating Osteoporosis: The Complete Guide: Volume I: Lifestyle and Nutrition.
Why the blog? After horror, I’ve always gravitated toward old movies, usually film noir. Lauren Bacall caught my eye, and I’ve been fascinated with her looks ever since, especially in her youth. Because I’ve always admired how striking her beauty is in pictures, I’ve collected a ton of them, some very rare, and thought: “Why not share these with other fans?”
If anyone is wondering who my male crush is from the Old Hollywood pictures, it’s definitely Richard Widmark! Unfortunately, I don’t think there are enough pictures of him to go around, however.
When I’m not in school, hanging with my friends, or reading, I am writing about health/nutrition/skincare. I’m also publishing the next 2 volumes of my book series on osteoporosis very soon, something I recommend everyone should learn about as this condition affects over one-third of women and about 1 out of every 5 men over 50, and its prevalence is only growing. I hope to change that.
